I just LOVE this photo. It was taken on K's actual birthday. Natalie and Landon are so excited for him to have his first candle-blowing, cake-indulging experience. And K is completely mesmerized by the candle. Love it.

This post is almost 4 weeks late...oops.

Sunday the 18th of September was a special day for Koen! We had him dedicated at the early service at Northview. It was a special time, and we were glad to have my family there with us. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures, except at the end of the service when the kids were d.o.n.e. and ready for naps!

Later that afternoon we had Koen's bear-themed birthday party at the lake house. It was so much fun! Kari (my sister-in-law) helped me out with the decorations (she is so creative!) and everything turned out really good! We ended up having something like 20 adults and 15 kids...so much fun! The weather looked miserable, but thankfully it didn't rain and we all had a great time!
