Sick Computer :(

Our poor computer decided that it has had enough. We usually keep it on and the other morning I went in to check email but our computer had shut off sometime during the night. And it wouldn’t turn back on.

So I just wanted to let you all know I’m here…but I’m not “here”.

Lots of cool stuff going on. Hopefully I’ll have time (and a computer) to sit down and explain it all soon.

Happy 2007!!!

We hope you have all had a FABULOUS Christmas & New Years!!!

We had a GREAT time but now we are back to real life and the craziness that entails, which is why this blog hasn’t been updated in awhile. =)

Shaun’s parents drove out on the 23rd and we got to enjoy a few days with them here. We celebrated our Christmas together on Christmas morning. Natalie made out with a bunch of cool toys from Grumpa and Grandma including the Hokey-pokey Elmo from Grandpapa and Grandmama (Shaun’s grandparents).

We also made an excited trip out to Urgent Care on Christmas Day…Natalie was really fussy (not normal for her) and we knew she wasn’t feeling good. Turns out she had an ear infection (her first) so she was given a 10 day perscription of amoxycillin. Fun times. =)

On the 27th Shaun, Natalie, and I met up with my entire family at the Phoenix airport. From their we all headed down for a week vacation in Cancun. Wow…I still can’t believe it happened!!! We had such a great time…a whole UNINTERRUPTED week together. It was too good to be true. We have over 400 pictures together but I have picked my favorites and put them in a web album for you, so check them out!

The last few days have been hard…saying goodbye to my sister…knowing that I won’t see her for a year and a half. Not fun. We also came home from Cancun with the news that my Opa (my mom’s dad) is not doing so good and we need to prepare for the end…as much as we’ve known this was coming it still is hard. I’ve also had to work 3 of the last 5 days and have been fighting a sinus cold.

So as much as we had an excellent holiday season, we’re definitely back to reality. =)

But…we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in 2007 and pray that He is glorified.

  1. Looks like your family had the time of your lives!

  2. Your pictures are great Kris. Looks like such a special time. I am so glad your whole family was together. Wow, how it sucks to say good-bye. This time I only had to say good bye to Ontario not to Indonesia, and that was hard enough! But we are so blessed by the families we have!

  3. Oh my word Kristal…those are lovely photos. It looks like you and your family had an incredible time. Thanks for the update. It’s great to hear how you are doing. I’m sorry you are feeling under the weather. Blessings.

  4. It looks like you had a wonderful time. I am always curious when I see family pictures. In our family, there is always so much drama that goes on to have everyone ready for the photo all at the same time and we are not even dealing with kids. Your sweet baby is as cute as ever.

  5. Chelsea had to go to the doctor on Boxing day. SHe had (and still has) a thoat infection. Her tonsils had swollen up and turned white. She’s on penicilin for it now. Sure doesnt make the Holidays feel too special.
I like the pic of you guys on the beach btw.

  6. Hey there lady…I took a gander at all the pictures and you guys sure are a beautiful family!! I’m sure you had a blast with everyone. And it looks as if you have a pretty nice tan to boot. :) I miss you guys more than you can know. Maybe one of these weekends we can drive out. Thanks for always keeping everyone updated with the blog. It’s good to hear what’s going on in your lives…even though we’re far away. :) I love ya!

  7. wow you all looked like you had a great time in canun. Oh, and actually i was at the emergancy christmas night into boxing day so when we picked up my perscriptions we joked we beat the boxing day rush! i hope you all feel better now, i really do understand! not fun at all! well, we hope you have a wonderful and blessed new year!

  8. Hi Kristal!

I just saw your comment on our blog – Jonah is so cute!! I was SO surprised that they had a boy…I totally thought they would have a girl. But, Jonah is a beautiful gift from God, and I’m so excited for them. I’ll post more pics soon. Love you.

    Bonnie
