Baby Sawyer #3 - 20 weeks!

Today marks 20 weeks pregnant with Baby Sawyer #3...and I must say this pregnancy has flown by already! I can't believe we are at the half-way mark!

Things are going well. I haven't been see a doctor/OB since I was 12 weeks pregnant because of insurance stuff and with moving I missed our 16 week appointment (oops!), but thankfully now our insurance is in effect through Shaun's job and I have my big ultrasound on May 6th as well as a regular check-up. Can't wait to see this little one that is wiggling around inside of me!

I have been feeling great...the nausea is gone (actually since the 12 week mark) and I am thankfully sleeping really well at night. I had really bad insomnia for a few weeks but lately it's been really good, thankfully. It helps that our kids have been sleeping well (through the whole night, yay!).

Shaun and I have been thinking of names...we seem to finally have a good boy's name picked out. We have a few good girl options too. Can't wait to meet this little kicker in 20 +/- weeks!

Snow!

Yesterday (April 22nd) we woke up to this! Beautiful! By afternoon it was melted and well into the 60's.

I still need to add more decor and pictures (and we have some things to put away) but we'll get there eventually.

Kid's Bath & Hallway

Hallway to the Master. Inside the double doors are my washer & dryer. LOVE having the laundry upstairs!

Stairway from Upstairs to the Main floor...

Miss Nat's Bedroom

Master Bed & Bath

It still needs some work (like pictures added, bath mats, and more decor) but here's an idea of what it looks like.

The bath...

View from our balcony off the master...

If you look closely you can see the Animas River...

Our deck...and our cute boy...

We're Here!

It's hard to believe but we have already been here in Durango, CO for 2 weeks! It was CRAZY how fast everything happened. From the day we got the offer (March 26th) to the day we left Southern California with our moving truck was only 10 days! Unbelievable. It was so cool to see God's perfect timing with everything!

Shaun's parents were on Spring Break the week of April 5th, so we asked them if they would come along with us--Paul to keep Shaun company in the moving truck and Kathy to help me out in the car with the kiddos. And boy, was it sure a help! I don't think I could have managed the 14 hour drive by myself. Thankfully we split it into 2 1/2 days of driving. The first night we spent in Palm Springs (only 2.5 hours from Valencia) and the next night in Flagstaff, AZ. We arrived in Durango on Wednesday around 1pm, just in time to sign our lease on our house and get the keys!

We were SO excited to see our home since we had only seen pictures and been given reviews from Shaun's now co-workers. I was really nervous that my expectations would be let down but I was NOT disappointed. We walked in, and I couldn't help but cry at the thought that this was our home (well, at least for the next year)! And to top it all off, the church staff had gotten us a HUGE basket full of groceries (bread, soups, condiments, cereal, chips, fruit, bottled water, pancake mix) as well as cleaning supplies, flowers, and a welcome card! We were just overwhelmed with the blessing of it all! After a long year of waiting it is so awesome to see God's provision for us, in His perfect timing!

The church had hired movers to come help unload our truck that afternoon, but they had also told the church the previous Sunday that if anyone wanted to help that they should to be at our house on Wednesday afternoon. We had close to 20 men show up to help unload...it was amazing. The movers came (late, by the way!) and the only thing we had them do was move our piano upstairs...the church did everything else!

I seriously couldn't stop smiling that day. Dana (head pastor/Shaun's boss) asked me if I was just exhausted and I said no...just so overwhelmed. It's quite amazing what God has taught me/us this past year. There was one point where I questioned...if Shaun never has a good solid job and if we never move out on our own again...is God still good? And the conclusion I came to was YES! God IS good...even despite our hard circumstances. And now we are being overwhelmed with all this blessing...I am oh so thankful, but definitely didn't need this to know that He is still good!

I'll be back later, with more pictures!

For Grumpa...
